Count Your Windows

Each window gets exactly one candle kit. A 32-window home needs 32 WCA1 kits. Simple as that.

What's Included

Each kit includes: (1) WindowCandle, (1) 302-CLED Filament LED Bulb, (1) MCA1-N Mounting Clip, and (1) Installation Manual.

Low-Voltage Safety

This is a NEC Class 2 low-voltage system — safe for homeowner use. Always use the specified WC18/2 wire to maintain your warranty.

The Rule of 15

Every 15 candles requires 1 WC50VA transformer. This rule applies whether you use LED or incandescent bulbs — it's a regulatory requirement, not just a suggestion.

Where to Install

Place transformers near your electrical panel — basement, garage, or utility closet. Central placement makes future management easier and simplifies smart-home integration.

Specifications

Input: 120VAC / 60Hz. Output: 24VAC at 50VA. Max load: 15 incandescent or 50 LED candles per transformer. UL Listed (E508012). Suitable for damp locations.

Daisy-Chain Layout

Wire runs daisy-chain from candle to candle along each zone. Plan up to 6 candles per run; keep runs under 400 ft to avoid voltage drop. Each box contains 500 ft.

Plan Your Zones

Organize by zone — Zone 1: first-floor front, Zone 2: first-floor rear, Zone 3: second-floor front, Zone 4: second-floor rear. Leave a 6–10" wire loop at each window for trim-out.

When In Doubt, Get Extra

Measure your total run lengths and add at least 20% for loops, overruns, and future needs. Unused wire can always be saved. Running short mid-install is a major headache.

One Base Per Window

The number of bases must match your candle count. The Decorative Base conceals the Mounting Clip and gives each window its finished, elegant look.

Easy Removal

Bases and candlesticks are designed for easy seasonal removal. Align the tee with the slot on the Mounting Clip, slide in, and cover with the base. Removal is just as simple.

Caps (1 per window)

Match your cap finish to your base finish for a cohesive, polished look across every window in your home.

Sleeves (sold in 6-packs)

Protective plastic sleeves guard the candlestick during installation and trim-out. Strongly recommended — they prevent costly damage before the homeowner moves in.

Installation Stickers

Stickers are placed above window sills to guide wallboard and trim carpenters. Missing even one window can cause major rework. One sticker per window location.
